This notice explains what personal data Lao Digital Week 2026 collects when you register or make an enquiry through this site, and how it is used.
What we collect
When you register as a visitor, we collect your full name, organisation, position, mobile phone number, email address, visitor category, the event days you plan to attend, and your areas of interest. When you submit a sponsorship enquiry or subscribe to our newsletter, we collect the contact details you provide in those forms.
Why we collect it
We use this information to process your registration, verify your mobile number, generate your entry QR code, send you your registration confirmation, and keep you informed about the event.
SMS verification
Your mobile number is shared with our SMS provider solely to send and verify the one-time verification code used to confirm your registration.
Sharing
Your personal registration details are not published or shared publicly. The public exhibitor and sponsor directory only shows organisation-level information that those organisations provide separately.
Retention
We retain your registration data for the duration of Lao Digital Week 2026 and a reasonable period afterward for event reporting, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us using the details below.
